| The Observatory, a former mill, was buit in 1766. The camera Obscura is in the tower and reflex`s the views from outside. You can also visit Giants Cave, down 136 steps to 100ft underground. Great views from bottom of Clifton Suspension Bridge. May not be suitable for under 4`s. Clifton Observatory, Camera Obscura & Cave | Bristol Blue is a small working factory still making glass in the UK. The factory is open 7 days a week. You can watch the glass being made and visit the factory shop free of charge. Tours or evening displays can be booked in advance and take about 1 hour, you may even be able to blow a glass bubble yourself. Tel: 0117 972 0888 to book. There are interactive hands-on exhibits, educational activities and have a go at steering the virtual ship. Ticket includes free audio guide and free return visits for a year. Shoot a ball in the sports zone or fire a smaller ball with the ball cannons. Find things to climb on, balance on, swing on etc. There is a dedicated toddlers area.
