			Maiden Castle is an Iron Age hill fort first laid out in 600 B.C.
	The site can be accessed by a steep narrow path starting at the right of the car park.				Care should be excercised as the ground can be uneven.
			The multiple ramparts enclose an area of about 47 acres (the size of 50 football pitches).
