| You can hold a snake or a creepy crawly in the Tropical Hall. Variation of things to see including the puppet show, newly decorated aquarium or the radio museum. There is a full-size pirate ship to play on outside or an indoor play castle. Plus animals all around to see. Tropiquaria Wildlife Park | It is free to visit the Ferne Animal Sanctuary, set in 51 acres of countryside and home to 300 unwanted animals. There is a nature trail, a picnic area and animals to see including chipmunks and donkeys. Dogs welcome on short leads. Donations welcome. Ferne Animal Sanctuary | Unfortunately this attraction is currently CLOSED due to a major fire. Please check website to see when re-opens. | Brean Down Tropical Bird Garden is a family run business situated close to the beach. Here you can see beautiful tropical birds from around the world. There is also a licensed cafe and gift shop. | At Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre there is an owl show everyday and an inddor/ outdoor flying display. You`ll also see miniature donkeys, alpacas, miniature shetland ponies and other small animals. Horse riding and lama trekking possible. Tea rooms, gardens, old buildings and great scenery.
