  Bath Abbey, 12 Kingston Buildings, Bath, BA1 1LT.   No. 1 Royal Crescent, Bath, BA1 2LR.   Abbey Churchyard entrance to pump room, Bath.  
  Take a Tower tour (kids must be 5 and over) climb 212 steps and sit behing the clock face. Walk round the Abbey but download the audio guide from the website to your MP3 player before your visit. The Abbey is closed for services so check openings before visit. Vaults currently closed for redevelopment. Bath Abbey and Heritage Vaults   No. 1 Royal Crescent is a magnificent Georgian town house built between 1767-1774. This was the first house to be built on the royal crescent. Visitors can see what life was like in the 18th century for the wealthy in Bath. Look in the Dining Room, Drawing Room, Gentleman`s study, kitchen and Bedroom. Guides in every room help bring the rooms to life. No. 1 Royal Crescent   A free service provided daily (Sun-Fri 10.30am & 2.00pm, Sat 10.30am). The tour takes approximately 2 hours and leaves from the Abbey Churchyard entrance to the Pump room. (From May - Sept additional tour on Tues and Thurs at 7pm). No pre-book inf required for individuals. Groups of 12 or more should book 4 weeks in advance. Guided Walk

  See the places where Jane lived walked, visited and shopped. You can see the settings for the novels Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. The tour runs on Sat, Sun & BH, lasts approximately 1.5 hours and starts at 11.00am. (In July & Aug additional tours on Fri & Sat at 4pm) The tour starts at the K. C. Change in the Abbey courtyard. Jane Austen Walking Tour   The exhibition has a period atmosphere where you will find maps, books, film costume and contemporary exhibits. Discover what it was like for Jane Austen when she lived in Bath and how it affected her writing. Also find out more about the locations that feature in her novels. Don`t miss a visit to the Regency Tea Room. Jane Austen Centre   The Roman baths was built over 2000 years ago. The Baths are below modern street level. Audioguides are available with special auditours for children. Costumed characeters appear in the afternoons. See the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman bath house and finds from Roman Bath.
