| This castle situated on top of a wooded hill has lovely views across Exmoor and the Bristol Channel. Beautifully decorated rooms and a magnificent staircase inside. Family trails help you explore the castle and gardens. Castle is open mid March - Oct. Dunster Castle | The pits formed from clay digging are now lakes, after flooding, and home to wildlife. There is a 40 min gentle walk around the lake. There is a childrens play area with swings, slide, roundabout, seesaw and tyre swing. There is also a skate park, picnic spots and free car park. Apex Leisure & Wildlife Park | The new grotto and water garden is planted for year round colour. There is a small train to take you round the lakes and gardens.
